In early 2008, Cumming set out to broaden its U.S. footprint and strengthen its Program and Project Management offerings. Dozens of firms were identified and considered as potential partners. Upon meeting the leadership at Southern Management Group (SMG), we immediately recognized the strong cultural alignment and potential for synergies. In mid 2008, Cumming and SMG joined forces. Today, operating as Cumming|SMG, the organization continues to thrive.

Cumming|SMG is led by SMG founders Tom Baldwin and Brian Blatt, along with its long-standing management team of CEO Bill Wiseman and President Jeff Holstein. Cumming|SMG is one of the largest and most highly respected providers of Program and Construction Management services in the Southeast.
